The 2008 Beef Industry Conference is planned
for April 3-4 2008, on the OSU campus.

Registration and conference details can be found by clicking on
"Conference Information".

The OSU Beef Industry Conference is a select educational program oriented toward larger cattle operators (whether seedstock, cow-calf, stocker, or feedlot) and beef industry leaders in Oklahoma. Its purpose is to address issues and research of importance to the beef industry in Oklahoma. The Beef Industry Conference, while new in 2007, is patterned after and contains components of the successful Advanced Cattle Management Seminar which OSU offered from 1986 to 2005. The history of the predecessor conference and evolution to the Beef Industry Conference can be found at this link.

The Beef Industry Conference is available to invited participants on a space-available basis. If you would like to be invited or would like to suggest someone to be invited, you may complete the nomination form at this link.

Sponsors for the Beef Industry Conference are essential to its success. Learn more about our sponsors and the products and service they provide the industry by clicking Sponsors.

Planning for the Beef Industry Conference is a two-tier process. Conference details are governed by the campus planning committee. Feel free to contact anyone on the campus planning committee by clicking Contacts at the top of this page.

Input into the program content of each Beef Industry Conference is provided by a group of highly respected, industry representatives who comprise our advisory committee. You can be introduced to the current industry representatives by clicking Advisory Committee.

The Beef Industry Conference is one activity associated with the Cattle and Forages Initiative Team
at Oklahoma State University. Contact Dave Lalman for information on priorities and
