For Quicken 2008, update your program to Release 3 (the patch is downloadable from Intuit's website) for the sample files to work; otherwise, you will get a message that it was created in a later version and can't be opened.

Instructions for Downloading Sample Files:

Users of Windows XP or earlier versions of Windows (98 or 2000) may need to use a program such as WinZip or FilZip to extract the files:

1. The Sample files are in a Zip format (LOND0_ files contain several files ) that must be extracted after you download the zip file.



2. Right click on the desired link to download the files.



3. Save the zip file to your computer using the "Save Target As" option.



4. Go to My Computer.



5. Find the file you saved.



6. Right-click on the file name and exract the files in it using the "Extract All" option.



7. Once the files are extracted you can use them. Open the Quicken program and click File, Open and select the Lond0_ .qdf file.



8. For the Farm Category and Asset Account files use File, Import, qif and follow the instructions.
