For Quicken 2008, update your program to Release 3 (the patch is downloadable from
Intuit's website) for the sample
files to work; otherwise, you will get a message that it was created in a later
version and can't be opened.
Users of Windows XP or earlier versions of Windows (98 or 2000) may need to use a program such as WinZip or FilZip to extract the files:
Each Zip file contains several files that make up the London Sample file.
Right click on the desired link to download the files.
Save each zip file to your computer using the "Save Target As" option.
Go to My Computer.
Find the file you saved.
Right-click on the file name and exract the files in it using the "Extract All" option.
Once the files are extracted you can use them. (Open Quicken and use File, Open for the Lond06 data or File, Import for the Farm Categories or Asset Accounts).
